God’s commitment to Adam and Eve and His roles for them
1A13(title) God’s nature to be expressed to and through people
People were to be how God would especially express His own nature on Earth. He would be making Himself known TO and THROUGH them. That placed people in an extraordinarily privileged and responsible position.
1A13(sub-title) God’s commitment to Adam and Eve and His roles for them
Adam and Eve were made in the image and likeness of God. He was committed to interact with them and they were enjoying a direct and intimate relationship with Him. That was the centre from which all else derived. God’s roles for them were to express His own nature and so share with Him in accomplishing His primary purpose.
1A13(a) God’s strategy
To achieve His intentions for Adam and Eve, God had set up a basic paradigm for them as follows:

Everything in all of God’s creation had now been put in place in order to accomplish His primary purpose. Central to this were Adam and Eve and God’s roles for them. How they actually responded to God and then how that all worked out, is presented in Chart 1B.
