God continued to demonstrate His power in this Era which extended over a long period of at least 1656 years [2A(intro)4)].

Despite the FALL God continued to sustain the whole universe!
God’s condemnation and curse upon His Enemy (in the form of a serpent) after the FALL had already shown that God’s power over him had not been diminished Gen 3:14,15.
God let people continue living on Earth and enabled them to multiply Gen 4:1-2,17-22,25-26, 5:3-31. Yet their rejection of His authority continued and their rebellion against Him increased Gen 4:5,8,9b,19,23-24, 6:1-2,5. But their sinfulness did not diminish His power over them in any way Gen 4:10-16, 6:3.
Finally God declared that He was going to bring judgment upon all this evil, in overwhelming power Gen 6:7.
